Although the support I give each family varies greatly according to their individual needs andI do often work day shifts, I have found that my ability to work through the night is of much value to many families. Providing the same bonding support, household logistics support (such as laundry and dishes), breastfeeding support, etc I can also allow parents a chance to have a much needed stretch of uninterrupted sleep without needing to be vigilant to the new babies every whimper. I find that many parents and babies flourish with this extra support during the first weeks and months post delivery. It is my deep honor to support families at this crucial time. I am the CEO of a small international non-profit whose mission is to support and nourish individuals through the arts of music and dance as engaged as moving meditation. I see my doula work as one in the same with this mission to uplift and empower humanity.
