Kelleen draws on her personal experience with having late preterm twins with extra needs from birth (plus a one year old) as she brings loving care to your family. Her love for helping her friends and family with their little ones paved the way for her to explore becoming a Newborn Care Specialist as a new career path. She completed her Newborn Care Specialist training through the Newborn Care Training Academy. She has also completed additional training and coursework in areas such as Safe Sleep Practices, Sleep Conditioning, Breastmilk Storage and Handling, and working with LGBTQ+ families just to name a few. She is comfortable administering infant feedings for singletons as well as multiples, offering breastfeeding and pumping support, and formula modalities.
Her responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to; feeding, changing, bathing, caring for child while parent is sleeping, facilitating healthy infant sleep habits, washing and sterilizing bottles and pump parts, folding infant laundry, helping parents transition from hospital to home with newborn(s).
