"I am a Certified Labor Doula, Certified Childbirth Educator and Certified Teen Educator. After serving as a volunteer doula for four years at The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey, I worked as the doula supervisor for AMAR Community-Based Doula Program for three years. AMAR serves the Hispanic community in Trenton, New Jersey. I worked as a consultant with HealthConnect One, facilitating some Training of the Trainers following their model based on popular education. Now, I continue supporting the Hispanic community in a private Facebook support group Casa Doula.  In this support group, I do educational Facebook lives and support our families connecting them to community resources in Spanish.  I facilitate monthly in-person meetings with the goal of preventing Perinatal Mood Disorders and Anxiety, supporting those who are suffering from it, accompanying to prevent social isolation and providing a safe and motivational space to our community."
