Profile:

Having been a Doula for five years now has been one of the most rewarding experiences.  It is a profession which continues to give over and over again each time I assist another family in the birth of their child.  During this most intimate time it is an honor to be allowed into such a sacred space and to share in the journey.

Each birth is just as unique as the beautiful bundle of joy.  I am experienced in vaginal births; cesarean; VBAC; and inductions.  I have provided support to moms having a singular birth as well as multiples.  I just recently witnessed the birth of multiples bringing my total number of births to 100 babies.  If you are wondering, yes, I cried all 100 times!!!!

Not only am I a support during the birth, but during the prenatal and postpartum stages as well.  I take time to support the entire family including grands, aunties, uncles and yes, the family pet, because it truly takes a village.  It is not just a professional arrangement but a connection is made with each contract which last far longer than any contractual arrangement ever could.

I have a background in behavioral health and early childhood education which allows me to offer support in various ways outside of the pregnancy.  I offer spiritual support if desired and I am always welcome to embrace bringing your family’s beliefs into the birthing space.  I believe that it's your birth, your vision, your day!!!
