CAPPA Certified Postpartum Doula: CPD

The CAPPA Postpartum Doula Training
Ready to become proficient when offering professional postpartum support? Take the first step towards becoming a Certified Postpartum Doula with CAPPA. This eighteen hour workshop meets the first requirement of your CPD program and prepares you to work through the steps for certification. This course is designed to provide a foundational skill base, knowledge, and perspectives on professional postpartum support for perinatal professionals, as well as providing training for those seeking certification as certified postpartum doulas with CAPPA.
Offering 18 CAPPA Contact Hours. Nursing contact hours potentially available on request.
The CAPPA Postpartum Doula Training Class includes the CAPPA Postpartum Doula Manual, and covers the following topics:

CAPPA Faculty: I have been working with women, children and families my entire career. I am a CAPPA certified labor doula, childbirth educator, lactation educator, and postpartum doula. I have received training in the brain science of early childhood, child development, child psychology, communication skills, parenting and family wellness. In my consulting and training business, I offer professional staff workshops, speaking engagements, group programs and private coaching. I believe that family relationships are the foundation of emotional security, positive connection and overall successful outcomes in life.
I am faculty for the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association, CAPPA, and offer the required training for the labor doula and postpartum doula certification.

$550 early bird when registered by July 10th, includes one-year membership to CAPPA
$595 regular rate after July 10th, includes one-year membership to CAPPA
Details of Refund Policy:
Full refund available if registration is cancelled one month prior to the start date of the training.
No refunds within one month of the start date of the training. In some cases, training enrollment can be transferred to another training with Abby Bordner within the next 6 months. Please let me know asap if you need to cancel.
NOTE: Each student must be in attendance during the entirety of the training provided in order to receive a certificate of attendance for this Training Class.
