Profile:

I have been a certified postpartum doula for the last 12 years and have looked after over 100 families in the Toronto and GTA. I have been fortunate enough to work with some amazing families. Helping them transition to parenthood. I have helped parents with twins and singletons, breastfeeding and formula feeding. Previously worked as a nurse practitioner and a registered midwife in England, having 19 years of experience as a nurse and a midwife in England, form 1989-2009. Currently a certified postpartum doula,certified childbirth educator, New parent educator and Certified Lactation Support Provider.  I am passionate about breast/chest feeding and birthing parents' health. I am currently pursuing my IBCLC.  I also  became a Postpartum Doula Faculty Member  in 2018 and am excited to be offering postpartum doula trainings in person and virtual in Ontario, Canada. Wanting pregnant individuals  and their families to have that little extra help and support to make transition into parenthood a pleasant one, making a difference in what is to be a wonderful journey through life. I am currently taking a sabbatical from training while I study for the IBCLC exam in April 2025.  I will resume training in the fall of 2025.
