I grew up in a home where holistic health was a way of life. Taking care of our bodies, staying active, and being mindful of what we put into them was just part of the daily routine. But it wasn’t until I faced my own health challenges in early adulthood that I truly understood how important it is to dig deeper—beyond just treating symptoms—to find the root cause of issues. That experience also taught me the value of advocating for myself and surrounding myself with medical professionals who actually listen.

I’ve always loved helping people and sharing knowledge, but my true calling didn’t hit me until I took a childbirth education class. Something just clicked. I realized how much support families need during pregnancy and birth, and I knew I wanted to be a part of that journey. That’s when I found the world of doulas—and it was like everything fell into place. The word "Doula" comes from the Greek term meaning "a woman who serves," and that’s exactly what I set out to do—serve and empower families through one of the most important experiences of their lives.

Beyond birth support, photography is another passion of mine, and I love weaving the two together. Capturing the raw, beautiful moments of labor and birth gives families something they can hold onto forever. It’s not just about pictures—it’s about preserving the strength, love, and emotion of the day you meet your baby.

I also teach childbirth education classes because I believe knowledge is power. I want families to feel confident, to trust their instincts, and to know they have a voice in their own birth experience. When I’m not working with families, you’ll probably find me out on an adventure with my husband, George, and our ridiculously affectionate cat, Grayson. Whether it’s kayaking, hiking, or soaking up the sun at the beach, we love exploring new places together.
