My name is Kate Davies and I’m working on furthering my education to become a certified doula through CAAPA. I have 8 years of child care, early childhood learning and household managing experience to give me a strong foundation to start building off of, as a postpartum doula. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, backpacking, climbing and art. Everything I do is with the core belief that people are meant to live life to the fullest, and in doing what I love, and bringing friends along for the ride, I believe I’m helping others live life to the fullest and feel less alone while doing it. In becoming a doula, my hope is to come along families, birthing people and their partners in whatever practical way they need to make their postpartum experience something they look back on fondly."
