Hi, I’m Beth. I’m a birth and postpartum doula, a longtime caregiver, and a mom to two teenagers… which means, I have a deep respect for the fact that parenting doesn’t end after the newborn stage. It keeps changing, stretching us, and asking new things of us over time.

I’ve been drawn to caring for others for as long as I can remember. When I was about 11, I used to rush home from school to help at my neighbor’s in-home daycare. Holding babies, feeding them, rocking them, and soaking in that sweet newborn smell brought me so much joy and peace even as a child. I didn’t know it then, but that instinct to slow down, notice, and offer steady presence has followed me ever since.

Before focusing fully on birth work, I spent more than 15 years supporting children, adults, and families in many different roles… most of which were caregiving. Roles like professional nanny, special needs caregiver, hospice provider, preschool teacher, and nonprofit leader. For years, I’ve worked closely with families navigating neurodivergence, high stress, grief, and big life transitions. Those experiences shape how I show up as a doula today.

As a birth and postpartum doula, my support is flexible and responsive. I can be hands-on when that’s helpful, quietly hold space when that’s what’s needed, support birth partners so they feel confident, or help manage the dynamics in the room so you can stay focused on yourself and your baby. I pay close attention to emotional cues and energy, and I adjust my support to fit you… not the other way around.

My approach is trauma-informed, nonjudgmental, nervous-system-balanced, and rooted in respect for your autonomy and choices. I believe preparation matters, communication matters, and so does leaving room for things to unfold. We’ll talk through your hopes, fears, preferences, and backup plans so you feel supported and grounded no matter how your birth looks.

I always encourage families to interview multiple doulas and trust what feels right. If we’re a good fit, I’d be honored to walk alongside you during this chapter.
