These are rough masks that are comfortable for light use during daily activities. The CDC recommends covering your face to decrease the chance of transmission of infectious diseases, especially in areas were maintaining a distance of 6 feet between individuals is difficult. Proper laundering methods are suitable for cleaning and disinfecting the mask.
Do not use cloth masks on children under the age of 2.
Do not use cloth masks on people who have trouble breathing.
Do not use cloth masks on people who are unable to remove the mask without assistance. (i.e. A person who is unconscious or incapacitated.)
Cloth masks are not surgical masks or N-95 respirators.
