Cost:
The cost of this training is $600.00; a $300.00 deposit will hold your spot with the balance due by September 16th, 2023. A $75.00 late fee will be added to all registrations after September 16th, 2023.
There are three scholarships being awarded for this training. They are awarded on a first come first serve basis to those that qualify and make initial payment AND are members of marginalized groups (BIPOC or LGBTQIA+). To receive a scholarship the individuals, must currently work with or be committed to working with families that are low income or also members of marginalized groups. Please email selena@igiose.com.

The CAPPA Postpartum Doula Training
Ready to become proficient when offering professional postpartum support? Take the first step towards becoming a Certified Postpartum Doula with CAPPA. This eighteen hour workshop meets the first requirement of your CPD program and prepares you to work through the steps for certification. This course is designed to provide a foundational skill base, knowledge, and perspectives on professional postpartum support for perinatal professionals, as well as providing training for those seeking certification as certified postpartum doulas with CAPPA.
Offering 18 CAPPA Contact Hours. Nursing contact hours potentially available on request.

Faculty: I am a Traditional Midwife supporting homebirth families. I work in my community bridging the equity gap in birth spaces. I have been studying and working in birth for over 16 years. I include a focus on understanding research and statistics involving the maternal health crisis in the USA. I aim to train and then support through mentorship birth workers who have a passion for improving outcomes. I look forward to seeing my trainees at births.
Refund Policy:
There are no refunds, funds may be transferred to another training with Selena Eisenberg within 12 months of the original transfer date and by paying a $75.00 transfer fee.
If registrant fails to transfer to another training within 12 months of the original training, registrant will forfeit any monies paid and will not receive any refund.
