The CAPPA 18 Hour Childbirth Educator Training

Why Certify as a CCCE?
Certified Childbirth Educators (CCCEs) provide evidence based information to the community, families and professionals. Childbirth Educators can be found working in a variety of settings to offer their services to families. Families can find them working as public health educators, hospital/community educators, in care providers’ offices and in private practice as educators.
CAPPA Childbirth Educators are non-clinical professionals. CAPPA Childbirth Educators do not dispense medical advice, diagnose medical conditions, or prescribe/administer medications or treatments of any kind. Educators do not offer information that directs families to act against medical advice.
Faculty: Esther March-Singleton has over 29 years of experience in the childbirth and breastfeeding field. Her passion for the profession began first-hand by the onset of motherhood. Fueled by the priceless self-accomplishment of achieving successful breastfeeding for all three of her children; Esther has stopped at nothing to express her desire and purpose of educating, facilitating, and assisting mothers & organizations all over the Florida to learning more about the benefits of breastfeeding /breast milk.
Esther has her degrees in nursing specializing in Maternal and Child Health, Business and Health Care Administration / Management. Esther is a registered nurse, IBCLC, and Certified Lactation Educator™ and Childbirth Educator. Esther serves as the President of Florida Breastfeeding Coalition, Florida Department of Health Broward County WIC Breastfeeding Coordinator, President of Broward County Breastfeeding Coalition, and faculty for the CAPPA CLE© program.

Details of Refund Policy: There are no refunds if a student needs to cancel, potential students can transfer to another course with A Mother’s Choice Breastfeeding and Childbirth Services within 12 months of the original course date with approval from A Mother’s Choice Breastfeeding and Childbirth Services. A $50 transfer fee will be applied. Non-refundable travel reservations should not be made until Esther has confirmed the class (usually at one month prior to the class start date). If the class is cancelled by Esther, all attendees have the choice of receiving a full refund or transferring to another Childbirth Educator Training with Esther. Certificate of training completion is given only if the entire training is attended, the Pre-Workshop Study Guide is completed, and training fees are paid in full.
NOTE: Each student must be in attendance during the entirety of the training provided to receive a certificate of attendance for this Training Class.
