Sarah Swanson

BS in Biology 2006, Masters of Arts in Teaching 2007, and science educator for nearly a decade before starting my family. I taught Anatomy and Physiology courses at a community college and university in Southern Oregon before relocating to the Portland metro area in 2013. I became a CAPPA CCE in 2014 following the birth of my first child – the realm of pregnancy and birth is difficult to maneuver without education and support! I started SMART Birth Services, providing prenatal and childbirth education courses, labor coaching, and postpartum support services to the Portland metro area, and now CAPPA CCE Trainings in the state of Oregon!
