My name is Rose Macomber and I am a Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, and Childbirth Educator certified by International Doula Institute. As a doula, I feel honored to share my expertise and serve families in and around Central and Eastern Connecticut. I approach birth and the postpartum period holistically, offering physical and emotional support as well as advocacy for birthing women and their families.
I have always been passionate about women’s health, including all things pregnancy and birth-related. After graduating from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Health Sciences, I decided I wanted to become a midwife to best help birthing women and their families. While I am still on my journey to becoming a midwife, I discovered that being a doula is a perfect way to help families on my journey and theirs!
