Rebekah Martinez

I am currently postpartum student doula and reside in Albuquerque, NM.  I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and hope to someday earn my IBCLC certification.  My passion for this work stems from my own personal experiences and struggles after my first daughter was born, and it has ignited a fire to help and support others the way I was helped and supported.  I have been fortunate to have such positive experiences in my work so far, and I am eager to work toward becoming a part of the change I hope to see in the world.  I was elated to be accepted into a local collective, New Life Birth Services, earlier this year and the mentorship and support of other birthing professionals in the community has really helped me grow and thrive in a short amount of time.  I am incredibly passionate about supporting the postpartum family of any shape or size and believe that everyone should have the opportunity to have unconditional love and positive support in their parenthood journey.
