Sochia began as a babysitter over 30 years ago, where she discovered a natural affinity for nurturing and caring for children. As her passion for childcare grew, Sochia expanded her horizons by transitioning into the medical field. Over two decades, she gained invaluable experience as a Medical Assistant and National Registered Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NRCPT), working alongside healthcare professionals and honing her skills in patient care and medical procedures.
Through her growth, adaptability, and empathetic approach, Sochia has consistently aimed to make a positive difference in the lives of those she serve. It is her privilege to contribute to the well-being, growth, and happiness of families as they navigate the intricacies of parenthood and childhood. Sochia’s commitment to providing holistic family support is reflected in her certifications from respected institutions. She’s certified as a New Parent Educator, Postpartum Doula, trained as a Lactation Educator, and Labor Doula through the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA). Furthermore, her training from the Center for Babywearing Studies (CBS) enables her to provide expert babywearing consultation. Her sensitivity and compassion in times of loss come from personal experiences and training with The Institute for the Study of Birth, Breath, and Death (ISBBD). Moreover, her training in working with multiples through CAPPA equips her to provide specialized guidance to families with twins, triplets, or more. She recently completed her certification in Adult Mental Health First Aid USA from National Council for Mental Wellbeing.

Her approach to perinatal care is rooted in empathy, respect, and non-judgment. She understands that every family’s journey is unique, and she tailors her support to fit their individual needs and preferences. Sochia is the owner of Mama of Many, LLC, she is thrilled to offer a wide range of services that draw upon her extensive experience in childcare, healthcare, and family support. Her dedication to empowering families and making a positive difference in their lives is at the heart of this venture. She looks forward to the opportunity to assist and support families in their unique journeys. Sochia loves her family, chihuahua and self care by way of coloring, hanging with family and friends and reading.
