I have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (HR) and worked in HR for nearly 20 years, mostly in recruitment and workforce development trainer & Career Consultant. Becoming a mom myself sparked a new interest in becoming a perinatal professional to help other parents navigate the transition to becoming working parents with more support than I received.
I am dual-certified through CAPPA as a Childbirth Educator and New Parent Educator, as well as, certified through the Center for Parental Leave Leadership (CPLL) as a RETAIN Parental Leave Coach and Pediatric First Aid, CPR and AED certified through the American Red Cross. I have also trained through CAPPA as a Lactation Educator and Postpartum Doula working towards certification.
On a personal note, I am a bilingual, American Korean raising my two kids in a multi-generational household. Learn more about me on LinkedIN, my website, and feel free to join my free Facebook group RP7 Online Community.
