Personal Birth Bio:
I am the owner of The Doula Group, which specializes in Birth Doula Support, Postpartum Doula Support, and Birth Classes. We offer virtual support anywhere in the US and in-person support in the Upstate of South Carolina. I have been involved with my local birth community since 2007, first for the benefit of my own births (planning a VBAC) and then as a doula and educator. I am a mother of 7 living children and I’ve experienced the loss of both a first trimester miscarriage and full term stillbirth. My own birth experiences have given me compassion and understanding during pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum.
I am involved in my local birth community and enjoy helping and teaching women about the marvelous journey of pregnancy and birth.
