Hello!
I am a CAPPA Certified Labor Doula, CAPPA Certified Postpartum Doula, Certified HUG Educator, Childbirth Educator, Newborn Care Specialist, and Infant/Child Development Specialist. I will obtain my Ph.D. in Infant and Early Childhood Development- Mental Health and Developmental Disorders in the winter of 2020, and I am working toward licensure as an MFT, specializing in very young children and PMAD cases. I absolutely love working with expectant families and families who have already brought their little ones into the world. I am passionate about a families’ right to choose how they birth, parent, and raise their children, and I have an extensive background in attachment, pre-and post-natal bonding work, and supporting fathers during their journey to parenthood. Additionally, I am a 3x survivor of Hyperemsis Gravidarum, and a loss by miscarriage momma; thus, it is important to me to find a way to support other families experiencing medical trauma during pregnancy, delivery, and post-delivery. This desire led to the birth of my idea to found, The Leilani Foundation, Inc. a pending 501(c)(3) Non-Profit in California to support families struggling with medically-induced trauma or stress.
