Luella Rhodes

Physician Assistant years’ experience in women’s health within rural West Central Georgia and East Alabama.  Under the directions of her OB/GYN Physician shared the wonderful and special connection with expectant mothers as they experienced their powerful, beautiful, mysterious and facilitating birthing journey. Instrumental in organizing the first educational and support services for expectant mothers newly diagnosed with HIV during the late eighties. Through a true grass-root approach designed, delivered and implemented “Southern Girls Get Tested” and other women centered programs/presentations within the scenic and open landscapes of rural Georgia and Alabama.  With compassion and clinic experience she continues to deliver evidence based programming and curriculum implementations with the health of expectant mothers and their families at the forefront.
