Welcome to my page!
My name is Kyla Stilwell and I am a 22-year-old mother of two beautiful children, a 2 1/2 year old boy and a 5 month old girl, who are the center of my world and the light of my life! I have personal experience with both epidural and unmedicated births, formula, pumping, and exclusively breastfeeding, postpartum depression and anxiety, and being a stay-at-home mother as well as a working mother.
My husband is an army veteran so I experienced my introduction to motherhood practically on my own as he was stationed overseas and because of that I understand how important postpartum physical, emotional, and mental health truly is. My goal as a postpartum doula is to relay my knowledge, experience, and unconditional support to mothers and families of all backgrounds and situations because I empathize with how challenging it can be in those first few months. I strive to help all mothers achieve their personal parenting goals while maintaining a healthy healing process and positive mindset as best as I possibly can.
While I may be young, I am wholeheartedly passionate about the beauty of pregnancy, delivery, and parenthood–which is certainly no easy task! I have the eccentric energy for those sleepless nights and eternally-long days, which puts me in an ideal situation to be able to balance my home life with my eagerness to share my love with new and returning mothers all across the board.
I cannot wait to open this new chapter of my life and become more diverse in my knowledge base and be the support every family on this beautiful earth deserves!
