Julie is a CAAPA trained postpartum doula and a DONA certified birth doula. She loves educating, empowering, and encouraging women in their parenting journey. Julie believes that all births and kids are miraculous and the women behind those kids should be treated with honor and dignity. She brings a calm and joyful demeanor to the labor and birth and to the home during the postpartum period and she firmly believes that although this period can be filled with uncertainty, that joy and laughter can also abound!
Julie received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and her Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. She is married to Brian and together they are raising Leo, Ali, and Ayanna.
Julie enjoys hiking and adventures, volunteering at their church, and she loves a good “dad joke”.
