I’m passionate about serving all families in this exciting and sometimes overwhelming adventure of pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenting. My goal is to make sure that during this adventure you can make informed and educated decisions that are right for your body and your family.
I grew up in northern Minnesota and was given the nick-name “baby hog” by my family. I was constantly in the church nursery and had a very full calendar of babysitting gigs during high school and nanny positions throughout college. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I knew I wanted to work with families empowering them to do what was best for them based on their own strengths and beliefs. When I became a parent myself, I realized that caring for others in this amazing time of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum was exactly my fit and passion.
I dug in and became a trained birth doula, Certified Lactation Educator Counselor, Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, and Postpartum Doula.
I am “Mommy” to two inquisitive and caring kids. Sawyer is 11 and Jasper is 6 years old. My awesome wife, Jen, is their “Mama” and our family lives in Rochester MN with our spunky kitty named Kwazee and goofball dog Finny. I enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles, reading by a warm fire, hiking, and playing outside with my family as much as possible.
