Janice K Banther

I have been helping women in childbirth for 35 years. I started 2 non profit organizations; FOR THE LOVE OF BIRTH, INC and BIRTH BEHIND BARS. Birth is my passion. For the past 16 years, I have directed much of my mission in working with incarcerated pregnant women. I also help with jails and prisons in the United States and Canada to help them start programs for the mother and baby. My love of my life is my husband Barry. I have 2 sons, 2 daughter in love’s and beautiful 7 year old and 3 year old grand daughters. I love quilting, eating out, going to the Gulf which is in my back yard. Also going to the mountains of North Carolina. I LOVE talking about birth! I am also a Senior Advisor for CAPPA I am certified as a Childbirth Educator and Labor Doula with CAPPA. I am also certified with Happiest Baby On The Block, HUG Your Baby, RTS (bereavement) Trainer and Counselor, CIMI (Certified Infant Massage Instructor)
