My name is Evonna Christmon I’m a professionally trained and certifying Birth Doula with DONA International. For over 10 years my work has passionately centered ancestral birth practices, relationship building, and maternal wellness. I learned that pregnant women need and appreciate loving, familiar people to stay with them, help them, and share one of their most meaningful moments- your birth.
I help families reawaken some of the core holistic birth practices, that improve maternity wellness for BIPOC people such as: hypnobirthing breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and practical tools to help you manifest your dream birth experience as much as possible. I offer unique holistic birth and postpartum care that emphasizes the importance of relationship building, healing, and birth as ceremony.
I cultivated and facilitate a mommy group called The Motherhood Moon Circle – a brave space for mothers that learn stress reduction, pregnancy nutrition, and various dances from certified health and wellness practitioners.
I’m a certified yoga instructor and Reiki Level 1 Practitioner. I also provide Blessingway facilitation, photography, placenta encapsulation and art services. I love painting, nature, and children! Traveling is my love language, I absolutely love exploring new places and gaining new meaningful experiences.
