Emma has had a passion for babies and families for most of her life. Prior to becoming a postpartum doula, she worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters in Morrisville, as well as volunteered at REX hospital to assist the staff with the newborn hearing procedures. The more time she spent with families, especially those with newborns, the more she knew she was called to support families in some way. Emma received her postpartum doula training through CAPPA and began working with Doulas of Raleigh shortly thereafter.
Emma loves supporting clients during this transitional time of life. She believes everyone deserves to be supported during this period of healing, learning, and getting to know their little one. Emma especially likes caring for new parents by helping give them some time back to prioritize their own self care and well-being. In her spare time, she enjoys taking walks, cross-stitching or crocheting, reading, and cuddling with her cats.
