I’m a certified birth doula who supports expecting parents wishing to have an intentional and meaningful birth experience. I believe in the value of having continuous and compassionate care during the birth process. Located in York Maine, I serve the seacoast area of Southern Maine and New Hampshire, I offer support for hospital and home births.
I am an affiliate doula at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover NH.
I’m certified through DONA International and I hold a degree in Anthropology from Mount Holyoke College. Previously, I was site manager of outdoor educational Summer Camp for White Pine Programs in York, Maine. There I had the responsibility of 100+ young children over six sessions. Fast paced and always changing but working with families has been a passion my entire life.
If I’m not reading about, talking about, or attending a birth, I enjoy knitting, meeting friends for tea, hiking in the woods, and listening to a variety of podcasts.
Working as a doula has been a natural progression for me. Attending births and connecting with parents has been deeply fulfilling and mutually rewarding experience.
