Deirdre Zerilli

Deirdre Zerilli is a CAPPA trained postpartum doula with over a decade of nanny experience and a PhD in communication. Deirdre has provided postpartum and sibling care as a part of the team at Chicago Family Doulas since early 2021, and is currently working toward her postpartum doula certification. As her full time job, Deirdre works as a lecturer at a small regional university teaching public speaking, interpersonal communication, intercultural communication, and various other courses. Deirdre grew up in a family of four children and has been a part of family care in long-term, full time environments since 2002 and professional environments since 2008 – now as a postpartum doula she specializes in supporting families with multiple children.
