I’ve always considered myself an advocate for women. But once I became a mother, I was introduced to a whole new group of women in need of support. Pregnant women and new mothers hardly have all the resources they need to transition into their new lives and roles. Those resources are significantly reduced when those women are women of color. I started In Day’s Care LLC to help provide those resources. I became a full spectrum doula, specializing in ante-partum, birth, and post-partum services to help empower women by providing knowledge and preparing them for their futures.
