I offer support to all new families as a postpartum doula. I focus on supporting the family emotionally and being part of the process to build the systems and skills in the home to adjust to life with a new baby. I emphasize community and work with the family to build their support network, not only of professionals that can support them, but also among their already existing community and to become part of the larger community of parent and families around them as part of building their support network for the long-haul. I offer breast/chestfeeding support; support with infant care; support of older children; time for rest, relaxation, and self-care; light housework and household organization. I am committed to supporting low-income families, queer/non-binary families, and families of color. I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Haitian Creole. References available upon request.
I am currently completing the requirements for my certification as a Postpartum Doula.
