Christina Veling attended UW-Madison where she got her Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She found her passion advocating for community health and social justice. She first wanted to be a nurse, but quickly realized working in the community and focusing on health equity was how she wanted to support families. Christina is proud to be a Milwaukeean and is thankful for the opportunities she's had to give back. She became a Certified Community Health worker while working at Children's Hospital until 2019. After working with pregnant families, Christina realized becoming a doula was her calling. She started working as a doula in 2020. Christina loves educating her clients on their rights and being an active listener. Christina is currently pregnant with her first child after a long IVF journey and is comfortable sharing her story with others to make them feel empowered. When she's not working, Christina enjoys spending time with her husband and pets, hanging out with her friends, playing in her volleyball league, and doing seasonal crafts!
