After my twins were born, I felt overwhelmed and exhausted by the challenges of mothering multiples. It was after the support I received from my family, other veteran twin moms, and my amazing postpartum doula, that I realized the importance of postpartum care and support and led to my decision to step away from my job as an HR professional and become a Postpartum Doula.
Prior to becoming a doula, I was very active in my local twin parenting group. Although I enjoyed the various roles I held there, by far my favorite part of that experience was meeting expectant and new parents and supporting them as they navigated the journey of new parenthood. Supporting new mamas and their families was always something I felt very passionate about, and I am very excited to turn my passion into my job. I love that I am able to combine my experience as a mother of twins and my postpartum doula training to help educate and support new parents as they adjust to the challenges of bringing a baby (or babies) into their home.
I speak fluent Thai (my mother is from Thailand) and lived in different parts of Asia as a child. Outside of work, I play tennis, enjoy hikes on local trails with my family and love traveling internationally to explore different countries and cultures.
